Sunday afternoon Erin took us for a walk up Author's Ridge. Buried there is Thoreau, Hawthorne, The Alcotts, Emerson, and many others. Normally I don't like graveyards, but this was pretty awesome.
In the middle is Alden, Erin's precocious brother.
Among the "famous" graves is the grave of Ephraim Wales Bull, the creator, but not the reaper of the Concord Grape. Steve feels very grateful to him for the many jars of Welch's Grape Jam and the many glasses of Welch's Grape juice.
