It's so hard to pick just one!

Tag: Your Favorite(s)

book: classics - Anna Karenina, Uncle Tom's Cabin, Age of Innocence, David Copperfield; I also love C.S. Lewis

movie: Anna and the King, Shadowlands, Babette's Feast, Pride and Prejudice

color: green

TV Show: As Time Goes By, What Not to Wear, Good Eats, Designer's Challenge, Frasier

guilty pleasure: bubble baths, aromatherapy candles, creamy dreamy truffle ice cream

outfit: anything comfortable and flattering, hip earrings, and a pair of fabulous shoes

body part: eyes

kitchen tip: throw out the lima beans! replace your Kitchen Aid with a Bosch, keep Ruth Reichl's "The Gourmet Cookbook" close by

life lesson: Careful attention to direction is the only way to reach a destination (without freaking out!) (My sister, Emily, actually said to me once, "It's the direction that matters." I've thought about that a lot and it's helped me when times are hard to make small steps toward reaching my goals.) Also, as cliche as it's become, "Don't sweat the small stuff; and it's all small stuff." Seriously.

activity: talking with friends, traveling, reading, cooking, running, dancing, listening to music, going to art museums, singing

food: cheese

child raising tip: love, nurture, instruct - all the time

pet peeve: inappropriate humor

game: card - Pinochle and Nertz board - Loaded Questions

tattoo (imagined or real): no thanks

element: water - like Erica I love the ocean, waterfalls, rivers, (and maybe I'm still thinking about that bubble bath) :)

I tag Kjirsti and Tom!

I'm so glad you did this, I was worried you weren't going to. bubble baths are such a good one - the bath just isn't the same without the bubbles. I like what not to wear too - I want all of stacy's clothes! you and I differ so much on movies and books I love to hear what you like. I've never seen pride & prejudice, but the book just about bored me to sleep every night...don't worry my insomnia won out and I read the whole thing though. plus now I can say I read it right? =)

That is impressive Tonya! I don't know if I would have finished it if I were that bored. It was a childhood favorite. I think Mr. Darcy was my little girl "man of my dreams." Maybe I just like Colin Firth. ;) Childhood favorites don't die.

I see - just like my Anne of Green Gables (which justin makes fun of me relentlessly for) Whenever I was sick or sad as a kid I would watch the pbs marathons (they were on all the time) and I would just get lost in her world. It doesn't do the same thing for me now (I tried last night). maybe life has tainted me too much that I relate to darker movies now? whatever works right =)
bytheway - you'll do just about anything to keep occupied with insomnia, (which does not include watching crappy tv) - even read P&P =) just kidding, I've read worse, I just thought it was predictable - I like writers who can suprise me.
