My brother and his wife have decided upon a name for their imminent baby girl: Madeline Elizabeth Price, "after two 'first' witnesses of the mortal Christ (Madeline being a form of Magdalene (first witness of the resurrection) and Elizabeth (John's mother - being the first outside of Mary and Joseph to recognize Jesus when John 'leapt in his mother's womb')."
My uncle and aunt (sometimes she posts here as "Cat") are also expecting a new arrival. She had her first ultrasound this week. Though the baby is only two inches long, it is a fully developed person.
It's just another reminder that families are one of God's greatest and most miraculous gifts.
