I love my mother!

The following dialogue is a phone conversation held between a daughter and her mother. The names have been changed to protect the confidentiality of both parties.
Warning: Contents are uncensored and may cause shock. Do not read if you believe the Utah bubble is thinning as quickly as the ozone layer. If you experience allergic reactions to corporate take over of American culture please cease reading immediately and contact your stock broker.

The Red Hot: It will be nice to have Nathan in Seattle for a couple of years. I've always wanted to visit Seattle, the good ol' Starbucks capital of the world.

Mia Madre: Starbucks?

The Red Hot: Yeah, Starbucks.

Mia Madre: What's Starbucks?

The Red Hot: STAR-BUCKS.

Mia Madre: Is it a restaurant or something?

The Red Hot: You're joking me right?

Mia Madre: No, what is it?

The Red Hot: Starbucks is like McDonalds, Nike, and Coca-Cola! It's a bona fide symbol of American Culture! Even if you don't drink coffee they have those great scones and the intense chocolaty goodness that can only experienced through a warm mug topped with whipped cream!

Mia Madre: Hum. I've never heard of it before.

The Red Hot: AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

This dialogue is hard evidence that one may live in America and successfully protect oneself from corporate predators. Either that or the Utah bubble is more like the Truman dome.

This last weekend I made a pilgramige(sp?) to that beautiful city of overcast green-ness. I LOVE Seattle. Absolutely love it. I observed many-o-Starbucks. Such an exciting city
