Cultured

I just wrote this in an email to a friend and I thought some of you music types might get a laugh out of it as well.

Last night we performed Magic Flute in the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville. It's a beautiful facility with great acoustics. We had a short rehearsal/sound check before the show. For humor purposes, one of the characters dropped into his thick southern accent and another into ebonics. Just imagine this: Mozart with German music lyrics, English dialogue, set in China, with a hero from Arkansas, and a villain from downtown LA!! It takes "cultural" to a whole new level.
