Drove to Borders charged with anticipation. Click, clickety, click, whoosh, click. Oh what joy!, the sound of my worn fingers perusing the precious CDs like the strings of a harp. Will the shaking of this pan reveal gold today? Spent money I didn't have. Woke up this bright morning. Anxiously cracked open the plastic oyster and removed its pearl. Gave it to Tosh* for an expert evaluation. Am now experiencing a world of rare a beautiful bliss. The Complete Rachmaninov Piano Concertos performed by Vladimir Ashkenazy, Andre Previn, and the London Symphony Orchestra. A precious jewel indeed!!

That IS a bright morning for Ohio! =) Nice, Mar, very nice.
I am also a huge nerd... well actually more of a "dorkus molorkus".... And I must say that I totally relate to your analogy for getting new music. I am a music junkie, I have approximately 1 metric tonne of CD's / Records / Tapes, and I listen to them all.
I dunno how pple live without music. Other than in complete ignorance and palpable misery.
Good Blog :)
What a fantastic purchase. I have piano concertos #2 and #3 on vinyl and love them. I'm so glad Tosh is getting to enjoy part of the action. I can't wait for my lap top to come!!! I love your blog Mary, I love your thoughts, and your method of expression, and your writting. You are BRILLIANT!!
Come check out my blog you weirdo!
:) Thanks Cody. I do not feel deserving of such praise. I LOVE your blog as well. I love reading what you have to say and it's much more technologically savvy than mine.
