I love St. Patrick's Day!! It reminds me of my grandma. Her rooms were always decorated with clovers, pots of gold, rainbows, etc. On March 1st the Leprechauns would appear! They would hide around the house accompanied by brown paper bags of goodies (one for each member of the household) tied with green ribbons. In honor of my favorite leprechaun, Mr. McGillicouty, I share this Irish Jig.
You put your hand up in the air
The other hand on your hip.
You tap your toe
You tap your heel
And bounce your knee a wee bit.
Now prance and dance around the room
And circle one, two, three.
The Saints be praised
I must admit,
You all look Irish to me!
